Day 01: Delhi-Mandawa
Your weekend tour Mandawa starts as our representatives takes you on a luxury drive to Mandawa. A land famous for its beautiful castles and stunning havelis, Mandawa was founded by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755. Also known as ‘the open air art gallery’ of Rajasthan, mandawa is the capital of the Shekhawati region and consists of the administrative districts of Jhunjhunu, Churu and Sikdar. The drive lasts approximately 5 hrs. and upon arrival check-in at the Mandawa Castle.

Day 02: Mandawa sightseeing
After a leisurely breakfast, set out to explore the mystical city with some of the finest specimen of frescoes and paintings. The Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli is one of those exquisite mansions dotting its landscape, displaying the finest example of Rajasthani heritage and art. The Murmuria Haveli is our next destination, known for its latticed windows, carved archways and the intricate designs. The Portrait of a crowded level crossing and a crow flying above it is the most famous one in the mansion.
The Goenka Double Haveli is one of the oldest in Mandawa and stands today as one of the well known and highly frequented destination of the region. Royal portraits, paintings and frescoes with intricately carved design patterns reflect the skilful craftsmanship of the Rajput artisans. The majestic Jhunjhuna Haveli located at Mukandgarh at a distance of 25 km from Mandawa is another must visit. This palatial mansion was built in 1859 and along with other famous Havelis in the nearby area, serves as the treasure trove of ancient history and lavish design. The intricately carved ceilings and walls in various shapes including golden leaves create an enchanting experience. Several famous paintings also adorn its walls, amongst them an image of Lord Krishna is one of the most important ones.
Evening time free to visit the local market and shop for traditional artifacts, souvenirs and other decorative items. The replica of famous paintings of the mansions recreated and sold by local artisans is amongst the most sought after buys.

Day 03: Nawalgarh-Delhi
Morning drive to Nawalgarh, another famous town located near Mandawa. Founded in the year 1737, the town of Nawalgarh was named after its founded Thakur Nawal Singh. There is art all around at Nawalgarh and it’s beautifully designed and carved havelis are renowned the world over. Some of the popular Havelis at Nawalgarh that we shall be visiting include Bansidar Bhagat Haveli, Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Chokhani Haveli and the Jodhraj Patodia Haveli.
The havelis boast of the beautifully carved wooden gates and the painted walls. The affluence of the owner of these havelis is apparent by the ornate iron and brass fittings. Small pieces of mirror, gold and silver leaves further enhanced the beauty of the paintings. Most of the paintings are based on life and times of Lord Sri Krishna, revealing the religious nature of the people.
