The Murmuria Haveli
The Murmuria Haveli is counted amongst some of the most beautiful palaces dotting the majestic landscape of Mandawa. A masterful example of Rajasthani art that existed during its golden yesteryears, the Murmuria Haveli is richly decorated with beautiful paintings and portraits. The Portrait of a crowded level crossing and a crow flying above it is the most famous one in the mansion.

Apart from the paintings, several other murals, carvings and frescos brilliantly displays the artistic acumen of the yesteryear artisans. The painter's master strokes can be seen in the picture that has deftly created this object. The subjects of these paintings vary from historical incidents, mythology, deities to modern leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru.
The walls of the Murmuria Haveli are adorned by the frescoes. With its latticed windows, carved archways and the intricate designs, the Murmuria Haveli attracts the tourists from all over. Like its other famous counterparts, the Murmuria Haveli too was build during the 18th century and stands today as a work of art in the arid zones of the Aravallis, bearing testimony to the splendor of the bygone era.
